Simon, and son Brett, (premiership player) are extremely busy managing over 600 staff in the group, but always have time for Collegians and follow our fortunes closely.

We MUST not rest on our laurels, we all need to work hard and refer potential sales directly to Simon and Brett who will handle all Collegians customers personally. The East Malvern Community Bank Branch of Bendigo Bank opened its doors for business on the 6th of May 2000, with no business on its books, and over the past 6 years – with magnificent community support – has grown to a Company that has returned over $ 100,000 to its shareholders, has distributed over $ 150,000 to many local organisations, and has become a vital part of the neighbourhood community.

Unlike conventional Bank branches, a Community Bank Branch is owned by local shareholders and operated as a franchise of Bendigo Bank, and the profits generated from its operations are returned to the local community.

Collegians Football Club has been a beneficiary of this distribution program with the provision of a Silver Sponsorship of $7,500.
