A message from our president
Dear valued member of our Collegians community,
I took some time to recharge following the final training session of 2025. It’s been fantastic to step back and see the great work our people are doing to ensure we continue to grow as a club and set ourselves up strongly for a 2026 rebound.
On the field, Men’s Head Coach Jordie McKenzie and Women’s Head Coach Melissa Bibby have our players going through their paces and preparing for Round 1 on 18 April 2026. The men’s team will open the season at home against De La Salle, with other fixtures yet to be confirmed.
Off the field, our General Manager Josh Sudgen has been working tirelessly to ensure practice matches, equipment, player transfers, registrations and logistics are all in order, while also collaborating closely with our content and communications team.
Nick Lavery has done an outstanding job revitalising our communications and social media presence. Our database has grown from 900 to 1,800, and our Instagram following has reached 2,000. If you’re not following already, now’s the time — there’s some great, fun content and important updates being shared. If you know someone who doesn’t receive this newsletter, please send them the link using the button at the bottom of the email so they can stay connected. Thanks also to Ollie Noke for his support developing the awesome graphic designs you see on our socials.
Our Head of Women’s Football, Amelia Peck, has done a huge amount of work to build our women’s program. There are some exciting partnership announcements coming in the next few weeks, and we’re still actively looking for players — please support in any way you can.
Our AGM was held in December 2025, and I’m proud to confirm that I’ll be continuing in the role of President. There’s plenty of work ahead.
The committee is made up of seven fantastic people, each leading a portfolio within our sub-committee structure. There are still opportunities to get involved if you’re keen.
Committee
Andrew Kenneally (President) – Memberships
Hannah Singleton (Vice President) – Strategy
Adam Celik (Secretary) – Risk & Governance
Jen Archibold (Treasurer) – Finance

Non Committee/Sub Committee Leads
Nick Lavery – Communications
Andrew Hind – Technology
Josh Sudgen – Football Operations
Mark Hibbins – Head of Men’s Football
Amelia Peck – Head of Women’s Football
We still need more help on game day (team managers, events support, water runners, etc.) and across our sub-committees. If you’re able to assist, please reach out to info@collegians.com.au.
The club has set some very achievable membership and sponsorship targets for 2026. Support off the field is critical to ensuring we continue to provide the best medical support, facilities and coaching for our players.
In particular, we are targeting 70 Coterie memberships for the 2026 season and are currently well behind that goal. As a reminder, Coterie membership includes the season launch, all home game lunches and the end-of-season celebration night.
Thanks again to everyone who continues to support the club — exciting times ahead.
Andrew Kenneally
President
