Hibbo is back as our new reserves coach for 2026!

Saturday 14, 2026

Well folks, he’s back and he just couldn’t keep away from coaching.

In 2015, after seven years coaching our seniors, Mark came on board as co-president in 2017 until 2021.

He spent a couple of years helping out anywhere around the club, and in 2025 joined the VAFA board, but this proved to be not for Hibbo. He needed to be where the action was.

We had an opening as the reserves coach and Hibbo put his hand up. After careful consideration it was decided it was a good move for both the players and the club. What could get his passion back like coaching?

No one can ever question Hibbo’s passion for the club, and his coaching ability speaks for itself – four grand finals including duel A Grade premierships in 2011 and 2012.

Mark coached junior football for many years, at Wesley for two decades, and has also coached our Women’s team at Collegians. Coaching is in his blood.

Our players will benefit from his desire to improve our reserves and develop greater depth the squad.

Welcome Back Hibbo.
