Marz Hits 50 Games

Our very own Marlaina McPhillips (Marz) hit a huge milestone on the weekend, chalking up 50 games of VAFA footy— and doing it in the best possible setting: back at Harry Trott Oval for the first time this season.

A favourite around the club and a constant source of energy, Marz’s impact goes well beyond what happens on game day. In 2026, Marz has been a major driver behind getting the women’s program up and running again, helping build momentum, bring people together, and set the standard for what Collegians footy is all about.

With the Trott atmosphere back in full voice, the team made sure the milestone was celebrated properly — delivering a big win to cap off a memorable day and give Marz (and the whole women’s group) something special to enjoy.

Congratulations, Marz — 50 games, a homecoming at the Trott, and a win to top it off.
