Volunteer Shoutout - Vonnie O’Toole

This week we want to recognise one of the true heartbeats of our football club, Vonnie O’Toole.

Vonnie has once again been an incredible contributor to Collegians in 2026, helping with:

Running our on-field and off-field merchandise
Thursday night dinners
Preparing lunches and afternoon teas
Setting up the canteen on early Saturday mornings
Assisting with club events
And always being the first to put her hand up whenever the club needs help

Alongside Rosemary and Louise, Vonnie does an enormous amount of work behind the scenes to keep our club thriving. If there’s a Collegians event on, you can bet your bottom dollar Vonnie will be there — behind the bar, preparing lunch, organising afternoon tea, or making sure our players are the best dressed in the VAFA.

The passion, care, and commitment Vonnie shows every single week is what makes Collegians such a special place. The wins on the field are exciting and memorable, but they simply don’t happen without the hard work of volunteers like Vonnie behind the scenes.
