Band of brothers in the 19’s!
6 April, 2026
Two weeks ago at RF Miles Reserve in the U/19s, two pairs of brothers had the opportunity to take the field together for the first time in the same game.
The Levy brothers—Nico (OW2025) and his brother Josh (currently in Year 11 at the College)—got to relive their childhood backyard games in real time, lining up alongside each other in the forward line. The Hartnett brothers—Ned (OW2024) and Angus (currently in Year 12 at the College)—also took the field together and, even better, were coached by their father, Richard, for the first time.
The Levy boys were electric, showcasing clean skills and class. Both hit the scoreboard, with Nico, the elder, showing why he has caught the attention of senior coaches, earning best-on-ground honours for his three goals. The Hartnett boys, much like their father, displayed tough grit and defensive prowess all day in the wet and gloomy conditions.
