Coaches comments:

A pleasing encounter v Scotch, where we jumped out of the blocks hard, and maintained a comfortable lead throughout the day.

Our intensity around the contest, along with some fast and direct footy, held us in good stead.

Midfielders Rozenes, C Walker were very good, with Hugh Johnson being very productive in the ruck.

Bielby and Frost were very damaging up forward, and the backline was steadfast lead by Canny and Warren.

We look forward to hitting the ground running this week against a top side in De La Salle.

Coaches comments:

The team followed instructions very well resulting in immediate success with our first goal. The players took on the opposition with fast paced football resulting in some good opportunities for the forwards. The backline is combining well and becoming a team within a team. The midfield consists of a number of strong and aggressive 19 year olds, which is exciting to see. There is still a lot to learn and practice, which should result in consistent progress. Momentum is building and first round selection is being made difficult. Bring on Round 1.\
